According to the article “Body Language That Speak To Muggers”, it is have the ten elements that i had learnt before this. But, for this entries i just want to focus on argument and evidence. The first evidence is Betty Grayson and Morris Stein, who got “muggability” ratings of 60 New York City pedestrian from the people who may be most qualified to judge. The other evidence is reasercher had a trained dance analyst classify each person's use of 26 movements that form basic components in Labanalysis, a common system for describing a notating movements. Then for the arguments are Grayson and Stein explain the scale to 53 other convicted muggers and ask them to rate each of people on the tape. The other arguments is according to commonsense opinion offered by the Crime Prevention Section of the New York City Police Department, crime victims typically walk around them.

This chapter which is entitle “ what is the evidence” is tell us about the famous case of the kidnapping of the infant son of Charles Lindbergh and examine the evidence, wholly circurmstial, that led to the conviction and execution of Bruno Hauptmann. Including historical treatments of past events. In all cases, he argues that a reader should maintain a critical stance towards everything that is read, always asking the question. The circumstantial evidence is not altogather trustworthy as a basic of determaining guilt. They prefer testimonal evidence such as that of eyewitnesses who testify that they themselve have seen the accused commit the reader.

READING 4.4

This chapter will cover on topic “Statistic”. “Please let me go to your school” is the third acticle that I had to examine for this week. The article consists about a children who is six years old was discriminate by The Hills Grammar School. She was competent to give evidence to that case. Scarlett was born with a lesion in her spine that has caused paralysisof the feet and incontinence. But she is disability to walk short distance and use ordinary toilets. So that this is one of the reasons why she is not accept to study in that school. Besides, the school is hardly allowed a voice in that case.
Now lets us go through the next topic which is on reading 3.3. This topic was presented by Fiqa and Faiz. There were two ideal combination I think. They were done very well while present it. Their topic were all about to illustrate the application of the model by using two text. On the text A, it is one type dissussion. It is have 5 elements and all about the field including business and academic. This text also help reader to know more about business. Thus for the text B it is more to report. It is took main point and didn't state negative or positive point in the text. It is also discover the elements of the laguage and find out the ideology that exist.
Then for the next presentation, which is on topic 3.4. it is all about discourse the readers. Actually discourse is a serious conversation. There are sexist of discurse. For the example this sexist is the unfair treatment of people towards Deborah Pery just because she had been convicted murder her collague. Discourse also constructs reading position and subject position for the reader of the text. Both position are therefore closely interrelated. Genre, similary construct reading position. Then for the sub topic language user has experience of all social of genres. Their experience of language user is mediated through their experiece of texts on social occasiasion. I think that is all for this entry. Hope madam will be enjoy to read it. Assalamualaikum......

This is the second blog...

Hye Madam...Assalamualaikum.......This is the second entries that i want to share with you. How are you today?? hope you are in good condition ok...ok let us get on through the point which is what I am understand with the topic. The first topic is Language, Perspective and Ideology. This topic was presented by Farhana's group. What I am understand is language are use in different way to differentiate people that the text mediates a white than a black perspective. In Tanzanian Daily News, the writer after all is white and he is writing for a white audience. An audiaence that can be assumed to bring a particular set of expectation. It can help people, to know the article is write by whom and actually goes to what people.
Then the next topic entitle text and textualities. The different sorts of meanings that signs generate we emphasised multiple possibilities a sign's meanings it might have. A text it have the myths. It use to be coding of social meanings and values. Myths turns social sign into facts. Then the textual. The analysis moves that get from textualities is it come from sign the connotation and codes will be followed by and next one is denotation. Then it will be represent myths. Then the text maybe invited to accept as true and natural. I think that is all for the second entires for this blog...have a nice day...bye...
